Evelyn is the Executive Producer of Ankara Miami: Florida’s Premier African Fashion Week and Ankara SWIM which both feature established and emerging designers and goods directly from Africa and the Caribbean as well as throughout the United States. The annual multi-day productions have led to partnerships with Macy’s, Arik Air, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, Toyota of North Miami, Inglot Cosmetics, Natural Trendsetters, Africa Trade Development Center, City of Miami Gardens, Miss Jessie’s and other reputable brands. She has also been a returning guest panelist alongside celebrity style experts (such as June Ambrose, Johnetta Boone, and Constance White) during Macy’s national tour, Macy’s Celebrates Black History Month.
